Századvég Foundation established the Economic Trends Research Institute to support the development of data-driven economic policy thinking in Hungary by providing deep methodological insights. The Institute focuses mainly on the analysis of real economic and commodity market trends along with the development of financial and macroeconomic models.
Our researchers are experts in a wide range of economic methodologies, including active modelling in the fields of statistics, econometrics, finance and game theory.
Director
He obtained his Master’s and PhD degrees from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where he is still teaching and researching. He has worked at Századvég for almost ten years: He joined the Energy and Climate Policy Business Unit in 2014 as an intern, in 2017 as a researcher and in 2019 as a business unit manager. His primary goal in leading the Division is to build and nurture a data-driven community of experts who are committed to improving Hungary’s economic and energy performance, in addition to meeting customer needs at a high standard. Since 2023 he is one of the founders and director of the Századvég Economic Trends Research Unit.
