He studied law at the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of Eötvös Loránd University between 1994 and 1999. Between 1998 and 2006, he was a councilor in the 12th District of Budapest, in the Fidesz faction. In 2013, he was the leader of the Fidesz organisation in precinct 5 in Pest county. He has been a Member of Parliament since 2014 and spokesperson of the Fidesz parliamentary group. Since October 2015 he has been State Secretary for Government Communications in the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister. Since 22 May 2018 he has been State Secretary for Civil Service of the Prime Minister’s Office. From 3 January 2020, he has been State Secretary for Government in the Cabinet Office of the Prime Minister. Since 1 August 2023, he has been Minister of Justice of Hungary.
