He is an ethnographer and cultural anthropologist, currently a senior consultant at the Regional Development Division of Századvég Konjunktúrakutató. He started his career at the University of Miskolc, where he worked as an assistant professor for 13 years. He later continued his career at the Digital Welfare Programme as project manager. His research interests include short supply chains, security of supply, and the application of technological innovation and traditional solutions to modern rural development. He received his PhD in ethnography and cultural anthropology from the University of Debrecen. In his work, he pays particular attention to the principle of putting people at the heart of all development. He is married and father of three children.
